Google Launches Gemini Advanced 2 Month Free Trial: Google has officially introduced Gemini Advanced, the subscription tier of its powerful AI model. The free version, formerly known as Bard, is now named Gemini and runs on the Gemini Pro model. As a special promotion, Gemini Advanced is currently available at no cost for the first two months.

During the quarterly earnings call, Google CEO Sundar Pichai confirmed the launch of Gemini Advanced, emphasizing its enhanced capabilities in reasoning, following instructions, coding, and creative collaboration. The subscription, part of the Google One AI Premium plan, is bundled with Google One, providing users with additional benefits and 2TB of cloud storage space.
Gemini Ultra, featured in Gemini Advanced, offers advanced functionalities such as creating step-by-step instructions, generating quizzes, engaging in discussions, and serving as a personal tutor for academic guidance. Proficient in advanced coding, it assists users in generating, analyzing, editing, and debugging complex coding tasks. For digital creators, Gemini Advanced provides content generation, trend analysis, and ideas for audience engagement and growth.

Gemini (trained on Gemini Pro) and Gemini Advanced are accessible on the website and Android app, while iOS users can experience the AI assistant through the Google app. The monthly subscription fee for Gemini Advanced is Rs. 1,950, but Google is currently offering a two-month free trial as part of a promotional offer.
In addition to the subscription tier launch, Google officially renamed Bard to Gemini, aligning with its advanced technology. According to Pichai, “Bard will now simply be called Gemini,” reflecting the core capabilities of the AI model.
