Launching in 2024, the upscale lounges will debut at major airports, including New York’s JFK, Los Angeles International, and Boston Logan. Entry requirements haven’t been disclosed, but similar lounges by other airlines typically cater to first or business class passengers, top-tier loyalty members, and premium credit cardholders.
The inaugural premium lounge at JFK, set to open in June, will be Delta’s largest, covering an impressive 38,000 square feet. Featuring a full-service brasserie, a casual chef-assisted marketplace, and dedicated wellness areas, the lounge aims to redefine the travel experience. Unique designs reflecting the cities will distinguish each lounge, with the LAX outpost featuring an outdoor terrace and the BOS location directly connected to the existing Delta Sky Club.

Claude Roussel, Delta’s vice president of Sky Club and lounge experience, emphasized the goal of providing a personalized and dedicated level of service, ensuring guests feel recognized and welcomed.
Alongside these exclusive lounges, Delta plans to enhance its existing Sky Clubs. Locations prone to congestion, such as LaGuardia, will receive more seats and an outdoor Sky Deck. Miami’s Sky Club will expand its area to 12,000 square feet, and new lounges will open in Charlotte and Seattle, the latter measuring 21,000 square feet. These updates aim to address concerns about overcrowding and reduce wait times.
Delta has already taken steps to manage lounge crowding by implementing new entry rules for credit card holders.
